Eating Disorder/Trauma Outpatient Therapist

Company Description:

Touchstone Clinical Associates is an outpatient mental health therapy practice located by the Ross Park Mall in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. We offer services to children, adolescents and adults. Our current clinical team specializes in Eating Disorders and Trauma among many other specialties. We are looking to build this team with a clinician or psychologist that that has a background in treating patients with similar illnesses.

Ideal Candidate:

The perfect fit for this role would be someone looking to experience the freedom and professional satisfaction that private practice can provide. A qualified candidate could also be someone that was out of the workforce and is looking to get back in on a full or part time basis. Although we have a long list of qualifications we are open to working with (training) the ideal candidate in any particular area.

The role can be full time or part time depending on the candidate and their needs.

We have a waiting list of clients and could ramp up the ideal candidate very quickly. If you're looking to get into private practice or back into outpatient therapy we would love to talk and see how Touchstone Clinical Associates could be a fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient mental health services with a focus on teens and young adults.

  • Ensure case management of patients, including ongoing assessment of goals, overall direction of treatment and handling of any clinical crises, and completing all necessary documentation.

  • Experience in eating disorders, trauma, adolescence and co-occurring illness preferred.

  • Evaluate, treat, and assist patients in overcoming mental health, social/emotional, and economic barriers that prevent optimal health and well-being.

  • Treat the privacy of the patient and their information with the utmost confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with teens and young adults.

  • Comfortable managing your own schedule.

  • Certified to provide therapy services in the State of Pennsylvania and fully insured.

  • Certified to provide services with the large insurance carrier (Highmark and UPMC preferred but not required).

  • Eligible licensure certifications include PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, MSW and NCC.

  • Have obtained Act 33/34 Clearances.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is based on the fee received for each patient visit completed. A clinician with a full case load can earn 65% of the fee received. This percentage can increase further based on volume of visits completed or level of licensure (PhD, PsyD).

  • In our experience this structure is more lucrative than a salary or hourly rate and is far better for a motivated clinician than the hourly wage you would find at corporate facilities.

  • The salary range listed in the posting is an estimated range based on what we have experienced our part time and full time clinicians being able to achieve.
